Agreed, you can do it with 2 operations instead of one (yeah, big
deal), but it's a function that was in all previous XCode releases
including 2.5. It just seems weird that it was removed for Xc3.
I qualify it as a minor nuisance, especially compared to a certain
non-Apple pdf application that keeps crashing on all of my 10.4 and
10.5 machines.

Yes, that's exactly it. I'm also trying to do the cmd-E, cmd-G
thing, but years of muscle memory is making it difficult. :)
I don't quite understand the difficulty here. Use Selection for
Find (⌘-E) and Find Next/Again (⌘-G) are standard commands
available in most text-based applications that support searching
including Mail, Safari, Text Edit, Code Warrior, and many others.
Seems like a very small adaptation to make compared to, say,
switching from Code Warrior to Xcode. ;-)
