Okay, I've spent awhile trying to figure this out. I have an XCode 3.0 project under SVN control. Everything has been working fine. I just now went to edit the the nib file in IB 3.0 and after I saved XCode gave me some cryptic error about svn admin not being locked etc. After some looking it seems that every time I save the nib file, IB seems to re-create the entire .nib directory but does NOT re-create or keep the .svn directory.

Has anybody else experienced this and/or can somebody verify this? If I don't hear anything or hear that somebody else is having the same problem I'll file a bug report... but it seems a little obvious so I am hoping it is just forget to check the "compensate for dumb***" checkbox.

I had this problem too back in the early days of the Leopard pre- release, in my case I fixed it by converting my nibs to .xib files which are of course flat files rather than packages.
