Hey,
For the life of me, I can't get a 'run script' build phase to work on an external target.
For testing purposes, I made a new 'shell script' target to my project, copied in my shell script code, and (after making this target active) it worked like a charm. The problem is the exact same script I have on my "run script" build phase on an external target won't work.
Couple weird things:
1) initially, when I try and add a new run script build phase to my external target (project->add new build phase), the options are all greyed out. Only after I'd created that test shell script target were those options available. From there, I was able to add a "run script" build process to my external target... but as noted, it doesn't seem to run.
2) not sure what this means, but when I try and delete the broken run script phase, it says "the selected items cannot be deleted because doing so would delete the last build phases from the target."
3) In my research into this problem, I've encountered two different apple dev. docs saying that you a) CAN and b) CAN'T have build phases on external targets... if you CAN'T do this, is there any work around?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
