Yes. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that in my first reply; you always
want to select the top-level folder of the Framework in the open
dialog box. As long as the actual Plug-In resides in the Framework's
Resource folder, all will be well.
And, it is possible to directly select a Plug-In bundle in that open
dialog. But, in that case, the Plug-In must correctly reference the
framework. Perhaps the framework bundle needs to live in the Plug-In
bundles Preferences folder? Never tried, so don't know.
The alternative of course is to not have a framework at all, and just
link in your various classes (say your NSView subclasses) into the
plugin itself. That works just fine, _except_ the 'Simulate
Interface'
feature will not work. This is how I do it.
Very true. I personally had to avoid that option since the simulator
was a critical part in my workflow.
