For whatever unknown reason, XCode 3 on my main volume has decided to
lose track of the data model compiler (also known as "momc").
Even while attempting to compile a standard unmodified brand new "Core
Data Application" project, I'll see warnings like this:
========
Building target “test” of project “test” with configuration “Release”
Checking Dependencies
warning: no rule to process file '$(PROJECT_DIR)/
test_DataModel.xcdatamodel' of type wrapper.xcdatamodel for
architecture ppc
warning: no rule to process file '$(PROJECT_DIR)/
test_DataModel.xcdatamodel' of type wrapper.xcdatamodel for
architecture i386
========
My .xcdatamodel files do compile on other Leopard volumes I have, but
even after uninstalling and reinstalling the XCode 3.0 tools, I am
still seeing these warnings.
Both my non-working main volume and my working test volumes have the
momc compiler found at /Developer/Library/Xcode/Plug-ins/
XDCoreDataModel.xdplugin/Contents/Resources/momc
Anyone ever seen anything like this before (and even better, any idea
of how to fix?)
