We did not make changes like this in Xcode 2.5 (note the lowercase "c"), so if you have noticed things like this in the seed, we'd appreciate a bug report.
Xcode 2.5 is supposed to be as close as possible to 2.4.1, but a) self-contained so it can work out of an arbitrary directory and b) qualified to run on both Tiger and Leopard. We know of no changes in yacc that would have caused the effect you noted.
