xcode 2.5 on leopard?

hi.

I read somewhere that xcode 2.5 was supposed to run on both tiger and leopard. but the other day I found a download link at apple.com that said it is not for leopard. WTF?

so is 2.5 worth downloading? I'm thinking of buying a mac mini because my old G4 is getting too slow...
