After you've added "My Help Book" to the project, the folder
should be blue in Xcode rather than yellow. You probably selected
"Recursively create groups for any added folders" when you first
added it. This will create yellow Xcode groups in the "Groups &
Files" pane, but an Xcode group is not a real folder, so only the
containing files will be copied to your app on building. If you
have a blue folder reference, on the other than, then that will be
referring to a real folder, which will get copied to the app on
build.
So how do people who can't perceive colors tell the difference?

In the Get Info window for the folder, the File Type is "folder" for
an actual on-disk folder, whereas the File Type popup is disabled for
a 'virtual' Xcode group folder.
