I've recently been having applications launched with Xcode
unexpectedly re-launch themselves after I quit them.
The sequence is:
1. Build & run from Xcode
2. Test app
3. Quit app
4. Moments later, notice that app has started up again.
This happens for multiple applications. The second time I quit the
app it stays quitted until the next time I launch it on purpose.
Looking at the apps with "ps" I see that on the initial launch Xcode
is the parent process-- as expected. The second launch has
WindowServer as its parent process, which doesn't make a lot of sense.
There are no console entries that show up when this happens (except
for messages my own apps print out with NSLog).
I've only noticed this since upgrading to 10.4.10. Anyone have any
idea what's going on here? This is with Xcode 2.4 on a MacBook Pro.
Thanks for any clues, this is really getting on my nerves.
