Dear all,
please bear with me if I am asking an old question.
We have developed a software which requires libgcc (more precisely:
libgcc_s.1dylib)
It seems the libgcc library is not present, by default, on "fresh" MacOS
X installations (off CD-ROM).
So the question is: how to install libgcc.dylib on a machine? (just a
matter of copying it to /usr/local/lib ?)
Can the deplyment of our software be facilitated by any Xcode setting,
somehow?
Otherwise: is it possible, via some Xcode settings, to link libgcc
"statically" into our own software?
TIA to all volunteers.

Hi,
If your application is a bundle then you can include this lib inside the
Frameworks dir of the bundle using the Copy Files Phase of xcode.
Then run a script which includes install_name_tool using @loader_path
trick against your exe, so your app will use the lib included in your
bundle.
