Xcode 3.0 text editor cursor position changed

  • Subject: Xcode 3.0 text editor cursor position changed

At first I thought I was just imagining this, but now I'm certain: In Xcode 3.0 the default 'actioning' position of the text editor 'crosshair' cursor is now a few pixels lower than it was! As a result I find I'm constantly clicking in the line below the one I want. I checked this on a Xcode 2.4.1 system and I can click much lower on the line and still select it, whereas in Xcode 3.0 I have to click 3 - 5 pixels higher. Why the change? Also, note that it's not the way the other Leopard apps behave, where if just the top of the text cursor touches the bottom of a line, it selects that line. not the one below it. Amazing how such a small change can be so aggravating.

Russ
