I seem to be having a similar problem after svn updates on my
project. It shows that the application has been launched, but no GUI
and no icon in the doc. It appears a task is running. I've tried
different cleans and have manually wiped the xcodebuilds dir without
success. When I do a fresh checkout of the tree and build from
scratch it runs again - until the next update of module. Trying to
isolate it. May or may not be related, but started seeing this after
I installed the iphone SDK.

I am a little lost. I've have been working on a project and for
some reason XCode does not start up my app anymore.
It does work fine when I start it with the debugger.
It does work fine when I start it directly from Finder.
It does work fine when I start it directly from the command line.
...but when I start it from XCode I only see "session started" and
the process is running but the UI does not come up. I don't even
get an error problem or anything on the console.
Double checking the process is NOT running. So it's just XCode
failing to start the app.
But why?
cheers
