I'm looking at installing a SCM. I noticed that xCode supports CVS, Perforce, and Subversion. Any feedback will be appreciated.

CVS is an older SCM. It works well, but doesn't support things like moving files or "atomic" operations. Still, better than nothing.

Perforce is a commercial SCM (they did have a "hobbyist" licensing system though).

Subversion is currently the "hot" open-source SCM.

I get to use Perforce at work, and use Subversion for my own stuff. Both are good systems. I chose Subversion for own stuff simply because of the licensing.
