Linked Libraries: debug vs. release and Direct Dependencies

  • Thread-topic: Linked Libraries: debug vs. release and Direct Dependencies

The Xcode feature of Direct Dependencies does not seem to tie to the
Linked Libraries as one would expect. What I want is that when my
configuration is set to Debug, the link would be to the Debug build of
dependent libraries, while when set to Release the link would be to the
release build of dependent libraries. Is there a way to configure this
in Xcode or is this an Xcode deficiency?

This problem is not unique to me - it is explained more verbosely at
