I know this is OT, but I just bought a 3G iPhone and I wanted to
ask a few questions to a list on how I can prevent certain e-mail

material that it cannot be done yet.)
Any pointers would be great.

You might want to check the apple discussion boards/forums instead
because that is a user question.
If you do not like email (like you want a junk mail filter) you might
try to beef up your mail server with some spam filtering. I tried
some POP3 client side email configuration on iPhones and it seemed a
bit spartan, so I guess it might be best to offload configuration to
a mail server when you are able. We are still checking this out for
our own (VVI) developer mail server. We run Communigate Pro (http://
www.communigate.com) and I know they are hot on iPhone integration. I
like CGP :-)
