What if I will use the same library in may different projects (not uncommon, that's why you have libraries?)

Sure it's logical. You want a common build folder for all your built products. Xcode Preferences -> Building -> Place Build Products in: Customized location.


A matter of preference, I guess.
Personally, I want my products near my project.

Still, libraries are different, a common resource for many projects. What if I do not build the libraries myself, i.e. something which is not open source? How can I specify where there are located so they can be copied into my bundle?
