Hi,

I'm new to xcode so maybe I just need to get used to it.

In short: No resources were spent to prevent you from passing C++ to the underlying g++ toolchain.
The debugger bridge for gdb was enhanced in the recent releases to work pretty reliable with C++.

Thats as far as I recognise it pretty much all. The libstdc++ documentation is missing. No real IDE features like refactoring.
Class modelling and completion breaks when when you start using namespaces or the scope resolution operator.
