Actually he has already done that since Xcode appears to see his
device as a valid provisioning target.

Richard, given the NDA I will limit what I say... look at the AppID
you defined and compare it to the example you see in the portal. If
the problem persists contact Apple iPhone DTS folks (link in the
portal).
