Thanks! It's funny how many menu items I never noticed before.
If you're using Xcode 3.1 it's typically easier to add the
"Overview" toolbar item to your toolbar, and then use that to
control this property. It's a multi-purpose toolbar item, so it does
several things besides allowing you to select the active executable.

Thanks, that's interesting... the menu adapts itself to only show
options that aren't covered by other menus in the toolbar. It does
save space on the toolbar, but on average I have to drag the mouse
further to switch any given option. I'll fiddle with it and see if I
like it better than having three separate menus on the toolbar for
target, configuration, and executable. I may do it one way on my
laptop and a different way on my large screen at home.
