warning: Could not find object file

Folks;

I'm not sure when this started but I just noticed that very early in a debug run Xcode shoves this into the console log:
warning: Could not find object file "/Developer/usr/lib/gcc/i686-apple-darwin9/4.0.1/libgcc.a(_eprintf.o)" - no debug information available for "/var/tmp/gcc/gcc-5465~16/src/gcc/libgcc2.c".

The app compiles with any warnings and I have pretty stringent settings in place.
I remain pretty naive about the internals of gcc so this baffles me.
I'm developing on an Intel Mac and have Debug set to 'Native Only'

I have moved my Developer directory onto a non-boot volume so the path quoted does not exist, but the whole rest of Xcode is not complaining...
The libgcc.a file DOES exist within my Developer directory, at the path outlined above...

Is there a complier setting that flipped this on?
How do I cure this?

Thanks!
Steve
