Xcode 3.1.2 and svn 1.5

I can't get the svn integration to work. I get this in the SCM tab:

Error: 155021 (Unsupported working copy format) Description: This client is too old to work with working copy '/Volumes/DevSource/ App_Painter/[Redacted]/Dev/PaintCan'; please get a newer Subversion client

I have uninstalled (with sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools -- mode=all) and re-installed from the disk image, since I messed with svn integration in 3.1.1. No difference.

Has anyone got svn 1.5 working with Xcode 3.1.2?
