iPhone Question

Is this where I can ask an iPhone question?

I joined the $99 iPhone developer program and downloaded the iPhone SDK. However, I can't seem to make a connection to my iPhone. When I run a program, only the iPhone simulation comes up but I have my real iPhone 3G connected via USB.

Is there something I am supposed to do? I can't find any switches or settings or actions of any sort to try.
