Is there a better list for Java on Leopard?

I'm trying to find ...
And you're not using a search engine? Pick one: Google, Yahoo,
AltaVista, whatever. Any of them are better for such questions than
any book or list.
my doc sets weren't helpful, and neither was "The Complete
Reference: Java 2 Fourth Edition"
I googled that title, and according to Amazon.com, that book was
published in December 2000, 8 years ago, and covers Java 1.3. It
isn't quite ancient history, but it's definitely the trailing edge of
technology.
The latest Java on Mac OS X is Java 6 (1.6). It's Intel-only and 64-
bit only. You can't even run a version of Java 1.3 on any of the
Intel-based Macs; it wasn't ported over. The oldest you can run on
i386 is Java 1.4. There's also 1.5, which is the most recent "broad
spectrum" release on OS X. Both 1.4 and 1.5 are 32-bit and ppc/
i386. 1.5 is also 64-bit on Leopard x86_64, but not ppc64.
