It would be nice if the version control interface in Xcode took the
approach of not leaving the user in limbo on what to do next. For
instance, after setting up a subversion repository and then trying to
get your project to use that repository by selecting the popup "SCM
Repository:" in the General tab of the Project Info your newly created
repository can not be selected because it is greyed out. The smart
thing for Xcode to do is not to have it greyed out but allowing you to
select it and displaying a dialog informing you what exactly needs to
be done to use this repository.
Xcode should also be smart enough to realize when all your source
files are not in the "project" folder and your root setting is
therefore not set properly for subversion to work with it correctly.

So, after a day of trying, I'm at a loss. Any hints?
We have given up using Xcode's SCM support so far - too much trouble.
Simply use svnX, SmartSVN or whatever you like.
PS: Of course I would be glad if Xcode's SCM support would finally
work without problems. I would be the first to switch back to Xcode
- using all in one then. ;-)
