Tool won't launch

  • Subject: Tool won't launch

For a stripped-down, nib-less Cocoa tool with a proper Info.plist file, I get this message when trying to launch:
<< the “XXX” application is not compatible with your computer. >>
This is under 10.5, an Intel machine.
Does anybody know for sure what test is being applied that causes this message? My thing is a universal binary and does run fine under Terminal. I've tried adding LSExecutableArchitectures, etc. to the property list but nothing seems to help. _______________________________________________
