It's annoying, anyway, since nothing I do makes the notes go away. The nibs
are properly constructed, as far as I can tell, and why should I care if
some views overlap their siblings a little bit if it causes no harm and the
appearance complies with the HIG?

In your Target's build settings, you will find some options related to XIB compilation. Just do a search for xib.


The exact setting you want is:

IBC_NOTICES = NO
