Beep when closing a project?

Xcode 3.0
Mac OS X 10.5.4

I have a fairly old project (its ancestry may go back to Project Builder). When I close its project window, Xcode beeps. The project window, debugger, and console were open.

It's annoying and worrying. Is there anything I can or should do about this?
