Changing the default localization

I created a localization to my nib files in the usual way so I have
now several nib groups containing two localized nib files each. Now, I
would like to default my further development to a locale other than
English. Is this even possible?.
My system preferences are set to my locale, and I also changed the
CFBundleDevelopmentRegion variable in the info.plist file to that
locale, but Xcode still opens the English version of the nib files
when I double click a particular localized nib group. Of course I can
explicitly open the particular localized nib file, whenever I need to
apply changes to it, but this is a tedious thing to do, unless it is a
way to tell Xcode to use that locale as a default.
So my question is, How can I instruct Xcode to open the particular
(localized) version of a nib file when double clicking on a nib group
instead of always opening the English one. Thanks for any help.
