IB assertion failure

I'm getting this message when I open (not even just open, but activate IB when that file open) one of my nib files:

Assertion Failure

Interface Builder encountered an internal logic error. Choose "Continue" to continue running Interface Builder in an inconsistent state. Choose "Crash" to halt Interface Builder and file a bug with Crash Reporter. Choosing "Crash" will result in the loss of all unsaved data.

Assertion Message: Resources must have a value!

The above message, nor the stack trace (when I choose Crash), nor the nib Info give *any* clue as to which "resource" apparently does not have a "value".

Any tips on how I might could figure this out?'
