BTW, is there a Place where all the XCode build settings, the way
how they interact with each other are documented?
Look in the Bookmarks section after you choose "Documentation" from
Xcode's Help menu.
If you want to see what's in effect:
1. Create a shell script phase:
env | sort > ~/Desktop/env.txt
or
2. In both the project and target settings, click in the settings
area, do menu commands "Select All" and "Copy", and those settings
will be text on the clipboard.
