I find that Xcode 3.1 beachballs all the time. It seems to be

I am using an old version of perforce server {Server version:
P4D/DARWIN60PPC/2005.1/82834 (2005/07/19)}, but when I when I use
other
perforce clients, it's very fast.Is anyone using perforce with
Xcode 3.1
without beachballing?
I can't believe this wasn't fixed in 3.1.
Back to 2.5 for another year or whatever.
We also experience this with Xcode 3.1 and Perforce. The GUI client we
use, P4V, doesn't have this problem even when it goes over the entire
repository.
That being said, the benefits of Xcode 3.1 so far outweigh the
inconvenience of turning of the integrated SCM support in Xcode (I do
hope they fix it soon).
!! Note to Apple Engineers: The Perforce server is free for up to 2
users and 5 clients, please make sure that lack of a server is not
holding you back from testing/fixing these bugs!!
