Well I certainly could not find any preference that gave a project
panel like in Fig 2.2 in 3.0. Perhaps the odd thing slipped through.
Only Aaron himself could confirm. It would make sense for Apple to let
him use some 3.1 stuff so as not to give too much away, and this was
mainly only cosmetic, but if he had 3.1 in the back of his mind the
material would not become outdated so quickly.
FWIW, I like 3.1, and I haven't had any problems with 3.1 and
Hillegass 's book.
