Hi

For the moment I have unpacked my old G4 iBook and the PPC CFM metrowerks build. I have a deadline to make and I will look into what is preventing me from using XCode 3 in a productive way later. The kind of delays I am experience are at the sort of "maddening" level - way back in my college days our UI class explored the fact that there are certain delay intervals that are psychologically damaging - and I have been chewing at the chair-legs. Our project us huge, there are lot of very large files - maybe that is a factor. I will also order 4G ram - as my machine will take 4G.

The other option that I will have to look at is using XCode 2.x as that will work on leopard. 2.x is a rougher product but of it works at an acceptable speed it will do.

Alan
