Delete group in Xcode 3.1 with SCM

If you have a SCM-enabled project (Subversion, in my case) and you delete a group containing files, Xcode offers to move the files to the trash. If you choose to trash them, it doesn't offer to remove the files from SCM. However, if you expand the groups and delete the files directly (either individually or en masse) it properly offers to remove them from the repository.

Didn't previous versions of Xcode always remove files from SCM if they were trashed?
