XCode 3.1 frequently hangs

Is anyone else having issues with XCode 3.1 being VERY slow after a file save?

This only seems to be the case when I compile things with header files in particular locations, such as <net/kpi_protocol.h>
If you download this:
http://developer.apple.com/samplecode/enetlognke/index.html

modify a file and save, you will get the beachball for about a minute. I have experienced this on two different machines (MacPro and MacBook Pro), both from clean installs.
