Insert argument placeholders for completions

I wonder if I am doing something wrong. Assume for a moment that a function takes more than one argument.
If one checks this option ( ie the subject of the question) in "Code Sense", then a partially typed function will autocomplete, and a tab will highlight and take one to the first argument., ..well, that's how it works in mine. But..I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to use the keyboard to jump to the next argument. Have to go to the mouse.
Any insights.
Thanks.
