Hi, I just noticed that whenever I open a XIB (the same might apply for NIB files) in Interface Builder, it automatically changes the reference IDs of (I think) every object. All I have to do is open the file, and then try to exit. Interface Builder immediately asks if I want to save changes - none of which I made explicitly. This is very bad for source code management, not only because branching and merging is much more difficult, but also because on each commit of the XIB file I get 1500+ changes. This means that the repository will be much larger than it needs to be, since no actual changes have occurred.

Does this happen to everyone else, or is something weird going on with my Interface Builder? Is there any reason why this actually happens? In my opinion this is a bug.
