Morning folks,
Have you ever tried to create an empty project (using the "Empty
Project" template in the new project wizard) and then successfully
been able to add new build configurations? I've been able to add new
targets, but I cannot seem to add any configurations.
When opening the info panel for the project, the "Build" tab's
"Configuration" dropdown shows the usual "Debug" and "Release"
configurations (this is clearly wrong, since there are no predefined
configurations in an empty project). When clicking the
"Configurations" tab, the list is definitely empty, and hence I cannot
make new configurations since there's no "Add" or "New" button, only
"Duplicate", "Reneme" and "Delete".
This feels like a catch 22 - and I would classify the current
behaviour as a bug. Do you guys have similar experiences, or
workarounds? Or shall I file a bug over at Cupertino?
I'm using the latest version of Xcode (from the iPhone SDK beta 8).
Regards
Mattias
