The xib was developed to specifically address SCM issues. Beyond that, they're identical.

Xcode, in fact, converts your xib into a nib during the build process, so the app bundle will actually contain a nib.

IB lets me choose either one. Both seem to work in a Leopard-only situation. So, I don't know if one is better than the other to save as in IB.

What format is more robust? (not including SCM issues).
