Xcode 3: Clear console menu entry missing?

  • Subject: Xcode 3: Clear console menu entry missing?

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Leopard and Xcode 3. After bringing back the 'Run Log' via Preferences->Debugging->On Start-> Show Console, I wondered how to clean that window. Google and Help kindly inform me that under the Run menu there should be an entry just below 'Mini Debugger' that reads 'Clear Console ˆ alt cmd R' .

Well, in my version of Xcode that menu entry reads 'Console' no matter what I do. The shortcut however works, and the button in the toolbar also works.

Assigning a different keyboard shortcut via System Preferences to that command magically makes it appear in menu...

Minor bug, but a bit disconcerting if you go through the menus and look for a command that clears the window and nothing can be found.

Cheers,
