Definitely not an Xcode question.
Two useful sources you should probably be aware of:
http://www.finkproject.org/
http://darwinports.com/
Using either of those to install subversion will be nice and easy...
and it's easy to keep it up to date. Personally, I prefer fink, but
DarwinPorts has a slightly different collection of packages. If you
go with fink, I would advise adding /sw/src to your list of
directories that Time Machine doesn't back up--or that Spotlight
doesn't index. Things just run a little more smoothly this way.
