I have converted a proj into another.
How can I change the name of the proj so that the menu bar reflect the new name.

Gouri's method will work, but you might want to look at using the $PROJECT_NAME environment variable in the Build Settings. This is the name of the .xcodeproj file and is very handy. For example, if you set the Product Name to $PROJECT_NAME, it will automatically change if you duplicate and rename the project file.
