Preprocessor log?

  • Subject: Preprocessor log?

I'm having difficulties compiling some open source C code with bunches of conditional defines and I'm getting a compile error due what I think is one of them somewhere being an incorrect value. GCC 4.0 and Xcode 3.0.
What is the best way to get the preprocessor to output a log of all the #defines it is doing and what the values are at the different points of the compile.
If the log could show the #includes as well that would be great.
Where does the log get sent and how do I view it.
Pointers to the right place to look for how this all works would be great too.

Thx for any tips.
