Can't open window after closing

Hello,

I just finished an app using Xcode and Applescript. It runs OK but when I close the app window with the red button I can't reopen it. I tried double clicking on the icon in the Dock to no avail. There is nothing in the Menu to allow me to open it either. Can anyone help me?
