I just built a basic Cocoa-Python project as research for my PyObjC article. When I added a breakpoint and choose Debug, I find that Xcode 3.0 just built and ran the project like normal. Rather annoying as I really want Xcode to go into Debug mode.

Is this a known problem with Xcode 3.0 and PyObjC? Or am I missing a setting or two somewhere? Just want to know before I file a bug report.

I *really* wish XCode would debug Python as well. In the meantime there is a plug in for TextMate that lets you quasi-use it to debug Python. You don't get watch windows but at least the Python debugger selects in TextMate the current line you're on.
