I believe that this issue is fixed in IB 3.1. To ensure that the bug
is fixed, it would help if you could file a bug report at http://bugreport.apple.com/
and attach an example nib file.

button (menu) or combo box in a group always moves up a pixel or two
every time I open and then save the NIB. This, as you can expect,

Is this a know issue? This does not seem to be happening to any
other control, and only those embedded in a group box. I did not
have this problem until I moved up to IB 3.0.
