I don't know what triggered my problem.
The clean install has the following paths in Xcode preferences but they are greyed out and cannot be removed. Even tho greyed, except for the first one, they can still be selected, checkmarked and unchecked.
The first one is the only one that has anything present on disk and it cannot be either selected or unchecked.
