Strange display issue

Folks;

I have a XC3 project in xc3 format using the 10.5 sdk with a 10.4 deployment target.

When I normally click on a method name in the text editor's splitter I see a pop-up listing of all methods in the current class.
(If you hold modifier keys this list displays differently -- does anyone know where those are documented??)

What is happening is that many methods are not showing up in the pop- up listing!
They are there in the .m file. I can Find them and the project compiles cleanly.

I have rebuilt code index and restarted XC but no joy.

What is going on?

Thank-you for any advice!
Steve
