Using Xcode 2.5 on Leopard

Hi,

I decided my team should stick with Xcode 2.5 on both Leopard and
Tiger until the time comes that we abandon support for Tiger, which
won't be for a long time. We do not yet have any Leopard-only
features in our products.

However, one of my coworkers is having all kinds of trouble getting
things to build on Leopard.

I have installed both Xcode 2.5 and Xcode 3.0 on her machine. I used
xcode-select to use 2.5, and I put /Xcode2.5/usr/bin at the beginning
of her PATH.

When she tries to build a user-space app, she gets the message that
the linker can't find the C++ standard library. It is in /usr/lib,
but not in /Xcode2.5/usr/lib.

I suggested she give up on Xcode 2.5 for now as it looked like we
couldn't make it work under Leopard. So I removed /Xcode2.5/usr/bin
from her path and used xcode-select to use Xcode 3.0

But now it can't find the C runtime library! (crt0.o).

Can anyone give me a clue?

I'm just about to install two developer machines with both Leopard and
Tiger - hopefully you can help me set them up right.

Thanks!
