Lost audible syntax warning?

  • Subject: Lost audible syntax warning?

Somehow my audible syntax warnings don't occur anymore. Like when typing [), etc. It happened about the same time as when I was trying to set my preferences according to the recommendations of the Hillegas book. I tried setting "Open Counterparts in Same Editor" when my project window was still open, and it made no difference. I've tried setting it multiple times since with the project windows closed but still no effect. That was about the time I noticed I lost my audible warnings. Could I have corrupted some preference file somewhere, and how would I need to fix that?
